First of many

Guess now is a good time to try and start this blog. Got myself a new camera a while back and have been playing around with it for a while. It's a Samsung nx100 and its a neat little mirror less camera. Photo above is one of many that I've taken so far with it and I hope to get a photo a day on it. An edit I did of one of the photos I took for our previous assignment in ART 147. This was for a photo using direct sunlight as the light source for use with the daylight white balance. I went with a warmer tone for the image when editing it to give it more of an autumn feeling.I think I did pretty good on the editing for this overall.

Our latest project in Materials and process has us taking photos with different lighting conditions to see how our white balance works on our cameras. This is a photo I did for candle lighting using the tungsten white balance on my camera for it. I did this for the candle because I've been wanting to do something similar to this on my own, although the plans for that involved an led I didn't have. I guess that's it for now, I'm gonna try and post the other photos I take once I do them as well, for now see you guys, I guess.
